Finally fell for the craze

So! I'm sure at least most of you have heard of SparkleSkirts. I was intrigued by the promise that they wouldn't ride up, but they are a bit pricey.

I finally caved and ordered the shorts, since they were about $10 less. And I was absolutely ecstatic when they lived up to their promise!! I have finally found shorts the perfect length that do not ride up, even on my chubby legs. I've even taken them through just over five miles in just over an hour, and they stayed right where they were when I left my apartment.

Needless to say, I was hooked.

When I saw that the Rock N Roll skirt was endangered and on sale, it didn't take much for me to jump on the deal.
I absolutely love it, and will of course wear it for RnR Savannah in November. I haven't taken it for a run yet but it's so so comfortable, just the right length, and fun!

If you haven't tried SparkleSkirts, I can't recommend them enough. Leah Powell, the owner, is absolutely amazing. There are even hand written notes in each package! It feels like getting a package from a friend, not a company.

Have you ever worn them? Which do you own?

  1. I've never tried them, but I've heard great things! I usually go for the moisture wicking running skirts that I can find at different stores around here, but they never have the cute decorations that sparkle skirts has!

    1. They're so so amazing. They're really soft, but still definitely a moisture wicking product. I'd say try it out! They're worth every penny.

  2. I love them and won't run in anything else. They don't ride up, are super cute, hold up well to weekly wear and washing, have three awesome pockets... I have six at the moment and have at least three more on my wish list!

  3. Glad you like your sparkle skirt. That is perfect for rock n roll. I was thinking about wearing a similar skirt for rock n roll VA Beach next month but I have a feeling it's gonna be way too hot so I should just wear running shorts.

    1. I honestly didn't notice a difference between the skirt vs. shorts. I live in Savannah, GA so I'm no stranger to heat, but I'd be fine in it. They just make things so much more fun!
